As my husband and I walked into the immigration office, he started getting nervous that he wouldn’t pass his test. It was the moment of truth. The nice lady started testing him on the history of the United States. My husband killed that part. The next thing she did was ask him to read a couple sentences. He started reading the sentences, then all of a sudden she started freaking out on him. She started yelling at him because his accent was too heavy and he was having a hard time rolling his R’s. She decided to give him another shot. He tried his hardest the second time and she finally accepted it. She approved him and gave him a certificate to sign. I was so proud of him and his accomplishments. I can’t wait to see what else he conquers.
